Cyprus Property Market Shows Real Recovery


According to local and governmewnt sources the Cyprus property market is now showing real signs of recovery. That's great news for property owners who are keen to see a return on investment.

The overall economic recovery of Cyprus is driving an upturn in real estate markets as we see property sales volumes increasing in several areas.

Increasing in sales have been most marked in the capital Nicosia, with Larnaca showing strong recovery figures as well. Foreign buyers have accounted for an increased number of sales showing 965 sales in January to September versus 886 in the same period in 2014.

Data from the Land Registry shows real estate sales in September 2015 were up by 3% in comparison to the same month last year. For the 9 month period January - September there was a 6% year on year natioinal increase in the the number of deeds of sale dealt with by the department.

Since the beginning of the yesar property sales have shown a consistent growth on all monthes except May and August, most significantly the recent increase in September show 385 sales compared to 373 the previous year.
